Sheri Chase was born in L.A and grew up in Atlanta until 2001, when she sold her house, quit her bank teller trainer job, and headed for the sandier pastures of Naples, Fla. (She left Atlanta's greener ones for those who like to mow.)
Her passion for designing jewelry began by chance when she inherited some tools, books, and raw materials that once belonged to a jeweler from the roaring 20’s. The moment she picked up her first jeweler's tool, she discovered her niche. On her artistic journey, Sheri was mentored by award winning artists, Kathleen and Robert Dennison along with other supporters of her work who gave her generous amounts of advice, encouragement, and critiques.
Sheri is now immersed in art, using her previous teaching and management experience to help her give back to artists, working, teaching and volunteering at the von Liebig Art Center, an art gallery on 5th Avenue, the Naples National Art Festival and working with patients in the NCH Arts in Healing program. Her work can be found in local galleries, a Palm Beach shop at a PGA Golf course and several international collections.
